About
Supporting pets and their people at home
The Rainbow Bridge Vet was created to offer a more gentle and personal alternative to the traditional clinical experience, supporting pets and their people at home during one of life’s most difficult moments.
We believe that saying goodbye should be as peaceful and stress-free as possible. By visiting you at home, we aim to provide a calm, familiar environment where your pet can feel safe and comfortable, and where you can take the time you need.
Our focus is always on providing care that is kind, respectful and unhurried, supporting both you and your pet with compassion and understanding.

Our Story
The practice was founded by Dr Laura Davidson, a veterinary surgeon with over 20 years’ experience in small animal practice.
Laura began The Rainbow Bridge Vet as a solo service, driven by a desire to offer something more personal and supportive for pet owners facing end-of-life decisions. Over time, the service has grown carefully to meet demand, while remaining intentionally small and focused on maintaining a high level of individual care.
Today, Laura works alongside a small, trusted team, allowing the service to continue supporting families while keeping the same personal, thoughtful approach at its core.
